QA Technician

AK Recruitment is currently recruiting for QA Technician for one of our Clients based in Ayshire.

Your duties will include:-

• Conduct hourly checks throughout Production which includes but is not limited to: despatch checks, label checks, metal detection CCP checks, Intake checks, VL checks and online QA checks
• Post any CCP1 as and when required
• Conduct start up checks prior to Production beginning
• Good Manufacturing Practice – checked daily
• Conduct calibration (probes) and foreign body audit
• Deal with QC Hold, Quarantine and NC (e.g. paperwork, quarantine, release…)
• On a monthly basis, conduct a Blade Audit, Hard Plastic and Glass Audit

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week). The hours of work may change from time to time in accordance with the needs of the business, therefore flexibility is required.

We welcome applications from individuals who ideally have experience in HACCP and Internal Auditing whilst this is preferred it is not essential. You will be a strong communicator and be able to engage with both internal and external customers. You will be a natural problem solver who is capable of meeting strict deadlines. You will have a proactive, can-do attitude and will produce high standards of work maintaining excellent attention to detail whilst striving for continuous improvement.
