AK Recruitment is currently looking for number of pack house operatives in Haddington area to work with vegetables. The job is to pack cabbages and sprouts within instructions and using the tools given. Full training is provided. The job is physically demanding and repetitive so ideal candidate must be fit and have can do attitude. Full time hours guaranteed and plenty overtime hours available.

The pay starts at £10.42 however it is being reviewed along with performance every few months. There is also space for progression within internal vacancies at the company.

Main duties are:

  • sorting and cutting vegetables to orders
  • quality checks
  • warehouse duties
  • keeping the work area clean and tidy
