AK Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced CNC 5 Axis Operator to join our Client based in Loanhead. The Company specialize in high precisions products for use in oil & gas, renewables and marine industry along with many others.

Job Summary:
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operate vertical milling machines / CNC Lathe Machines

Responsibilities:

– ensure that quality and maintenance is kept to the highest standard
– check manufactured parts for compliance to drawing
– ensure that health and safety guidelines and practices are followed
– problem solving
– communicate effectively with technical departments

Qualifications:

– time served engineer or a qualification of a similar engineering discipline
– 3, 4 , 5 axis vertical machine experience
– understanding of continuous improvement and quality systems
– great problem solving skills, efficient, logical and professional
